Asian-Inspired Salad Dressing
A punchy dressing with rice vinegar, soy, sesame, and ginger. Brilliant on slaws, mixed greens, or any Asian-inspired salad.
Asian-Inspired Salad Dressing

Ingredients
- 2 tbsp Japanese rice vinegar
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp ketjap manis
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 2 tbsp sunflower oil
- 1 clove garlic (minced)
- ½ tsp fresh ginger (grated)
Method
- In a small bowl, whisk together the rice vinegar, soy sauce1 tbsp soy sauce, and ketjap manis1 tsp ketjap manis until well combined.
- Add the minced garlic1 clove garlic (minced) and grated ginger½ tsp fresh ginger (grated), whisking to incorporate.
- Slowly drizzle in the sesame oil1 tbsp sesame oil while whisking continuously, followed by the sunflower oil2 tbsp sunflower oil, whisking until the dressing is well emulsified.
- Taste and adjust seasoning if needed. Use immediately or store in the refrigerator for up to one week.
☘ Tip
Give the dressing a good whisk before using as the oils may separate when stored.
